The Ajman Executive Council (AEC) has discussed plans to upgrade the competitiveness of the emirate through coordination, cooperation and partnership as per the strategic objectives of Ajman Vision 2021.
Held at Emiri Court, the session was chaired by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman in the presence of Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Representative of Ajman Ruler, Deputy Chairman of the AEC, and directors general, who are AEC members.
The move follows the directives of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman.
The AEC members discussed several topics that contribute to raising competiveness indexes, boosting their standards in the emirate, ensuring the sustainable development, and delivering services that provide happiness to all categories of the society.
They were briefed on the legislations that could stimulate investment through granting competitive government benefits and facilities to attract promising investments in all sectors.
The Crown Prince of Ajman stressed the necessity of unifying efforts of the Ajman Executive Council with other government departments to integrate business, unify visions and objectives through a scientific methodology that meets the best practices in this regard, as well as the need to link strategic objectives with the Ajman 2021 Vision.
Sheikh Ammar emphasised the need to work on the development of government initiatives to encourage investment in the Emirate of Ajman in targeted economic sectors.
Eng. Saeed Saif Al Matroushi, Secretary-General of the Ajman Executive Council, underlined the keenness of the wise leadership of the Emirate to enact legislation and procedures aimed at providing the legislative environment in support of boosting the economy at the local level and attracting investments in sectors of the economy.
