Eight militants have been killed in a drone strike in Kot district of eastern Afghan Nangarhar province, according to a statement released on Tuesday morning by the provincial police headquarters.

    The statement said that the insurgents were traveling in a vehicle when they came under attack in Khwargi area on Monday, according to (Khaama Press).

    Everyone inside, including foreign national, were killed and the vehicle completely destroyed, the statement added. Today's press release further stated that another militant was killed when security forces responded to a militant attack in Pandola area of Achin district.
