Al-Qaeda claimed responsibility for Tuesday\'s blasts in Baghdad which claimed the lives of at least 56 people and injured 200 others. In a statement Wednesday, Qaeda vowed to launch more attacks in reprisal of continued hanging of Sunnis in Iraq. On Tuesday, a series of coordinated blasts hit Shi\'ite districts across Baghdad and south of the Iraqi capital on Tuesday, killing at least 56 people. The attacks come on the 10th anniversary of the U.S.-led invasion that ousted Saddam Hussein. Tuesday\'s car bombs exploded near a busy Baghdad market, close tothe heavily-fortified Green Zone, and in other districts across the city. Early Wednesday, two car bombs went off in Baghdad, leaving over 20 people killed and injured, according to initial counting.
