Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met last night with UN Secretary General\'s Special Envoy Terje Roed-Larsen. During the meeting, the Palestinian President discussed with the UN envoy the latest developments in the peace process and briefed him on the national reconciliation agreement, which was signed yesterday in the Egyptian capital Cairo. Abbas had arrived in Berlin on Wednesday and is scheduled to meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel later in the day.
