Box Office reports that the highly anticipated Avengers: Age of Ultron accumulated an estimated $27.6 million from its Thursday night showings.

The Marvel film brings back actors Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Chris Evans (Captain America) and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) as they join forces once more to defeat a new enemy, Ultron. Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle and Paul Bettany also star in the tentpole.
