Egyptian actress Reham Abdel Ghaffor expressed her deep sorrow for the death of high-profile artist Shadia praying for her to rest in peace. She stressed that it is painful end of the current year as the Egyptians lost one of the major artists who enriched the artistic career with her wonderful works.

She added, “Despite her death, she will keep her presence among the Egyptian people with her works and beautiful voice. Shadia means pleasure and happiness. When we were seeing to her face, we were feeling happiness, while we lost now this happiness.”

She revealed that she will end the filming of her new film “Friday Market” during the coming week, saying that a large number of superstars participate in the new film, including Amr Abdel-Galil, Mohamed Lotfi, Sabri Fawaz, Ahmed Fathi, Dalal Abdel Aziz, Reham Abdel Ghafour, Nasreen Amin, Salwa Mohamed Ali, Mahmoud Hijazi, Mohamed Ezz.

She added that she performs a role of Egyptian woman called Najat who lives in a popular district in Cairo, while her lover uses her to conduct dishonest acts. She added that what attracted her to this role is its different nature if compared to her previous works. She revealed that the new film is scheduled to be presented during the coming drama season of Ramadan.

she expressed her pleasure for participating in her new film “Friday Market”, saying that the new film returned her to the Egyptian cinema after years of absence. She praised both the scenarist and director, saying that it is great pleasure for her to cooperate with Egyptian actress Dalal Abdel Aziz.

She added that the major reason behind her absence from the cinema for years was the absence of good scenario that pushes her to participate in any of the works offered to her during the latest years.

She revealed that she will participate in the second part of TV drama show “Mercury” scheduled to be presented during the coming drama season of Ramadan, saying that she appeared in little scenes during the part I as her role was to pave the way for her participation in the part II. She expressed her pleasure for participating in the TV drama show, saying it is the first time for her to participate with Egyptian actor Sherif Monir.

She added that she will perform a role of a wife infected with infertility who turns to sorcery for treatment, while the story will witness notable developments. She expressed her confidence that the new drama show will achieve notable success during the coming season, saying that it will attract the attention of a large number of fans due to the increasing surprises in it.
