Emirates Classification Society "TASNEEF" has been chosen to partner with the International Hospital Federation, IHF, to offer the Healthcare Leadership and Management Programme for the Middle East.

The partnership agreement was signed by Rashed Al Hebsi, the CEO of TASNEEF, and Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, IHF Special Advisor for the Middle East, in the presence of Dr. Khaled Al Jaberi, Director of Health Regulation Division, Health Authority Abu Dhabi, and Khalfan Al Saadi, General Manager at TASNEEF Business Assurance.

The internationally accredited and certified twelve-month programme will be held at TASNEEF HQ in Abu Dhabi starting on 12th March 2017 and will be reoccurring to serve healthcare professionals in the Middle East.

Designed to enrich professionals with knowledge and management skills, the new program aims to help healthcare professionals raise their confidence and, thus, improve the performance of their organisations by increasing their competence as leaders.

The programme will be accepting 30 mid-level or management candidates from various domains, including healthcare management, education, finance, logistics, research and development, and quality assurance.

Rashed Alhebsi, CEO of TASNEEF, emphasised, "We are proud to be a proactive contributor to the UAE’s goals in the healthcare sector. This initiative comes as an extension of our agreement with the Healthcare Authority - Abu Dhabi, HAAD, to provide the healthcare sector with an improved standard in quality management, safety, and environmental protection, which shall increase the competitiveness of our local healthcare providers to an international level."

Khalfan Al Saadi, General Manager of TASNEEF Business Assurance, added, "We want to inspire tomorrow’s leaders to achieve excellence in their field. Our goals for this program are to not only provide the participants with the core tools they need for leadership roles, but to also allow them to understand how their individual personalities shape their roles as managers, learn how to respond to complex and multifactor challenges, nourish their curiosity, and encourage creative thinking. Everything they can achieve through this course will ultimately help the UAE’s health sector gain recognition for its excellence and optimal performance."
