Dubai Municipality has reminded food outlets that health supervisors are compulsory. To date, almost 2,500 health supervisors have been trained. However, some food establishments are still being found in violation of food safety regulations. \"In spite of all inspection programmes in place by the Food Control Department, we still find some food establishments violate some rules of food safety,\" Khalid Mohammad Sharif, Director of the Food Control Department at the Municipality, said. \"Some officials or managers are not well trained or not involved the application of food safety practices in their organisations.\"
