The Health Ministry will provide teaching hospitals with solutions and blood filters within a week, Health Minister Ahmed Emad said on Sunday.

Speaking at a press conference following a meeting with Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, Emad praised the role played by university hospitals to treat millions of Egyptians.

The Central Bank of Egypt has allocated 31 millions dollars to meet hospitals' needs of blood products, he pointed out.
