Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Walid al-Moallem, stressed on Wednesday that Syria's future is outlined by the Syrian people only, and the outcome of the international conference on Syria will be subject for popular referendum and will be implemented in case the Syrian people agreed. In an interview with al-Mayadin TV Channel, al-Moallem said that the preliminary agreement of Syria to participate in the international conference is a result of the belief that the solution to the crisis is political and because the conference itself provides a genuine opportunity for such solution. He added,  "The final stance concerning the Syrian delegation to the conference has not been specified yet as we are waiting for details that were not identified during the visit of Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, to Moscow… We are waiting for the details of the meeting which was held between Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, and U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, in Paris." The Minister said that the outside opposition should not present preconditions to participate in the conference, pointing out that the members of the "Doha Coalition" meeting in Istanbul are the tools of international powers conspiring against Syria. He added that Syria will respond to any Israeli aggression or any violation of its sovereignty immediately, pointing out that Syria's response will be suitable to the volume of aggression. The Minister stressed that the allegations of the western countries about the chemical weapons in Syria  are mere lies, adding that Syria will not allow any international team to come to do in Syria just as they did in Iraq.
