UN Special Envoy for Sudan and South Sudan Haile Menkerios arrived Wednesday in Khartoum for talks with Sudanese officials over situation in South Sudan. Upon arrival in Sudan, Haile held a meeting with Undersecretary of the Sudanese Foreign Ministry Rahma Mohamad Othman. The UN official will resume talks on Thursday with a raft of Sudanese officials. Sudan is ready to help in reaching a compromise between parties to conflict in South Sudan, said Othman. Othman pointed out that his country will be the most affected states if the security situation in South Sudan is getting worse
