Thailand\'s king and queen left a hospital in Bangkok for palace in upper southern Thailad on Thursday. Thousands of well-wishers were packed along the way from Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok to Klai Kangwon Palace in Hua Hin district in Prachuap Khiri Khan province. King Bhumibol was admitted to the hospital in September 2009 with a respiratory condition, while Queen Sirikit was admitted for an irregular heartbeat in July 2012.
