Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese cast his vote in the referendum on the constitution at el-Sarayat Preparatory School for Girls in the Cairo district of Abbasseya on Tuesday. The voters warmly welcomed the Pope and asked him not to stand in line and to reach the ballot station directly. "God protect Egypt," the Pope told reporters after casting his vote.
