Damascus - SANA
Syrian Minister of Information, Omran al-Zoubi, has stressed that there is no alternative to dialogue to resolve the current crisis, adding that only dialogue would restore stability and security and preserve Syria's unity. In an interview with the Syrian TV, al-Zoubi said that dialogue is open to all sides to build the homeland, protect its borders and promote active and genuine democracy. He noted that the Russian stance on the crisis in Syria is "the most objective among all world countries because it rejects violence and terrorism and highlights the importance of finding a political solution." The Minister stressed that the Syrian Army is making advancements in confronting the terrorists, while a general amnesty was issued and the Ministerial Committee is communicating with opposition forces outside Syria. He stressed that the Syrian national media is facing the media war launched against Syria and it is advancing, pointing out that it is the media of the state that gathers all Syrians, and it is open to all views and discussions. Minister al-Zoubi underscored that the Information Ministry has granted over 300 permissions to various Arab and international media outlets this year.
