NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen will pay a visit to Kuwait mid-next week, informed sources told KUNA, here Tuesday. He is expected to hold talks in Kuwait on relations with the 28-member Alliance, said the sources requesting anonymity. Kuwait is a member of the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI) which was launched by NATO in 2004 to promote defence cooperation with Gulf countries. Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE are the other three members of ICI.
