Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received officials from Ernst & Young, led by Director of Consultancy Suleiman Ajawi.

The company was awarded the internal audit tender and being appointed to carry out an internal audit at the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA). 

The minister welcomed the company officials who briefed him on their plan and methodology for auditing and for strengthening its control. Dr. Mirza praised the efforts of Ernst & Young and their long experience in their internal audit services to ensure the proper functioning of the EWA. 

The company officials thanked the minister and the officials for their cooperation.

The meeting was also attended by Head of EWA Internal Audit Fouad Abdul Jalil Zainal.
