US Secretary of State, John Kerry, will discuss, during his coming visit to Russia, the crisis in Syria, the Iranian nuclear file and the preparation for the G8 summit, U.S. State Department spokesman, Patrick Ventrell, said. Russia Today quoted Ventrell as referring to the disagreement between his country and Russia regarding the crisis in Syria, asserting that the stance of the US Secretary towards the crisis "didn't change' and calls for the necessity of accelerating what he has called 'a political transition' which puts an end to violence as he put it. The Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday that Kerry will visit Russia in the 7th and 8th of the current month. Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, met Kerry on the sidelines of the Ministerial meeting of the NATO-Russia Council in Brussels on April 23rd.
