His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, visited the Public Security Department (PSD) headquarters on Wednesday and was briefed by its director, Gen. Tawfiq Tawalbeh, on the PSD strategy for 2013-2016. The King commended the department\'s efforts in safeguarding citizens, calling for enhancing the PSD\'s performance further. The Monarch also visited the PSD desert brigade andwas briefed on its duties and role in maintaining security in the badia region. His Majesty also watched an exercise performed by the brigade on dealing with security issues.
