Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy will visit Russia in mid-September, it was reported here today. the Egyptian Middle East News Agency (MENA) said during the visit Fahmy will hold talks with ranking Russian officials on bilateral relations and means of bolstering them in various political, economic, trade and tourism fields, in addition to regional issues of mutual concern foremost of which being the Syrian crisis and developments of the Palestinian problem. MENA added that more than six telephone contacts were held between Fahmy and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov during the past few weeks as part of the ongoing coordination between the two countries.
