His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Al-Bustan Palace today, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, the United Kingdom’s Heir to the throne Prince Charles on the occasion of his visit to Bahrain.The British Crown Prince conveyed to HM the King the greetings of Queen Elizabeth II and her best wishes of more progress and prosperity to Bahrain.HM the King welcomed Prince Charles and asked him to convey his greetings and respect to Queen Elizabeth II as well as his best wishes to her of continuous good health and happiness.HM discussed with the British Heir to the throne strong historic relations between Bahrain and the UK and ways of bolstering them.He lauded growing bilateral relations and coordination mainly in the commercial and cultural fields.He also commended the outstanding role of Prince Charles in cementing the Bahraini-British relations and boosting cooperation between the two friendly countries.HM the King reviewed with the British Crown Prince issues of common interest.
