Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir
Monster trucks and custom-made sports cars wowed spectators yesterday (December 14), on the final day of the Bahrain International Motor Show. Crowds flocked to Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) in Sakhir for the last day of the show, said
a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
The three-day, BD300,000 ($793,714) event featured four monster trucks, performance and muscle cars, Bahraini stunt drivers and bikers, mechanical displays and test drives of the most powerful cars on the road.
Organisers said yesterday's show was "truly a grand finale" as drivers did not need to hold back.
"Fourteen thousand visitors attended the show in the first two days, but 15,000 were expected to attend on the final day," said the show's founder Wassim Sami Farhoud.
"This has been the most successful motor show we have had our hand in and it's only going to get bigger and better as the years go on.
"The final day was truly a grand finale as all the action was taken to the next level - drivers had no reason to hold back anymore and gave it their all, pushing their vehicles to the limits."
Farhoud added most of those taking part in this year's show had already agreed to be part of the next Bahrain International Motor Show.
