The artist who shoots a catapult through crockery and glasses

The artist who shoots a catapult through crockery and glasses A beautifully shot video shows the effects of a slingshot on various items at an outdoor tea party. Filmed in ultra-slow motion, we see objects including a teapot, a vase and glasses full of drink smashed to pieces by a ball fired from a man\'s deadly accurate slingshot.
It flies through the air, colliding with the items and creating some marvellous formations as it causes them to explode into tiny pieces while the camera captures every dynamic movement in fine detail.
YouTube user FinalCutKing is the man responsible for the film, which has had almost 150,000 views so far.
In the description of the video, named Tea Party in slow motion, he writes: \'A super slow motion video of exploding eggs and smashing glass filmed by the Phantom Flex camera....not your typical tea party.
\'The frame rate was anywhere between 3,200 to 6,900 frames per second.\'
The film begins with a man firing his slingshot, first the ball is seen crashing through a plate, then an egg and then some tea cups.
As the video progresses, the set ups become more elaborate and more impressive in their results.
Three eggs get smashed all in a row, with the yolks spreading out to create a trio of yellow explosions.
Three glasses of coloured water bring about similarly impressive results - almost like a firework display.
Many of those who commented on the video expressed their amazement at its beauty and high quality.
KissesGallore said: \'Honestly, this video was amazing.. but my favorite part is at the 1 minute mark. Just looking at those colors and seeing the ball hit each one after the other? just fascinates me.\'
Another called TheWaysAreGreen, wrote: \'I can\'t even begin to explain how cool that was.\'
While Brett2444 joked: \'Good luck explaining this to your mother...\'
The film maker explained that the crockery was bought especially for his brilliant video.
