Qatar also displayed the Palestinian map incorrectly Rabat – Rachid Bougha Moroccan hackers executed another pirate mission on the official website of Qatar Oman Investment Co., last night, to continue the attacks on official Qatari websites. This the Moroccan-map and the Palestinian map incidents in the opening ceremony of the Pan Arab Games, held in Doha. Another attack was launched against Raya’s website (Qatari Paper), for putting up a Polisario flag on the Moroccan desert in a map of the Arab world, which led to protests organized by the International Movement to Support the Completion of the Territorial Integrity of the Moroccan Kingdom.
The Moroccan pirates announced that they had  put up a full map of Morocco with the phrase “Look at it… here it is.” They left their signature on the paralyzed web page in expression of their objection to cutting off the Moroccan map, and their refusal of  apology offered to Moroccans.
The International Movement to Support the Completion of the Territorial Integrity of the Moroccan Kingdom denounced the actions by the Qatari paper Raya, which put the Polisario flag on the Moroccan desert in a map representing the Arab world in one of its editions, thus held protests in front of the Qatari embassy in Rabat, in coordination with other groups. The movement considered what happened to be a “dangerous precedent” according to a letter delivered to officials in the Qatari embassy, particularly that it took place after the apology offered by Qatari authorities for cutting off the Moroccan desert of the Moroccan map during the opening ceremony of the 12th edition of the Pan Arab Games, hosted in Doha until Dec. 23.
General coordinator of the movement, Ali Gedo, said in a press statement that it is unacceptable to hurt the feelings of Moroccans concerning a decisive issue like that of the Moroccan desert, stressing that what happened aims to “Disrupt the Kingdom’s path of democracy, freedom, and human rights.”
Head of the Moroccan Saharans Association in Europe for Development and Solidarity, Ahmed Jaanoun, said in a similar statement that designated Civil Society organizations have been defending this national cause since 1975, top of which is the territorial integrity of the kingdom, The protesters denounced what the Qatari paper did, while at the same time putting high value on the solid friendship between Morocco and Qatar, and their people.
It is noted that Qatari Ambassador in Rabat, Saqr Bin Mubarak al-Mansouri, has stated that what happened in the opening or the Pan Arab games hosted by Doha was a “misunderstanding” from the organizers’ part. However, no apology has been offered to Palestinians for cutting off 22% of their legitimate map.
