Teenage Time Killer, a supergroup band including Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl and Slipknot's Corey Taylor, signed a deal with Rise Records to release its first LP.
The band has already recorded the instrumental elements of its debut record at Grohl's Studio 606 in Northridge, Calif.
One group member, Reed Mullin, told IndyWeek the record is likely to be released in January, though the label hasn't confirmed that detail.
Musicians contributing to the record include Randy Blythe of Lamb of God; Nick Oliver, formerly of Queens of the Stone Age; Neil Fallon of Clutch; Jello Biafra of Dead Kennedys; Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein of the Misfits; Keith Morris of Black Flag; Lee Ving of Fear; Tommy Victor of Prong; Aaron Beam of Red Fang; Pete Stahl of Scream and Goatsnake; Greg Anderson of Goatsnake; Karl Agell, formerly of Corrosion of Conformity; Tairrie B.
