Marvel and 20th Century Fox released the first official trailer for its alternative superhero flick, Deadpool, Tuesday.
The R-rated trailer -- also described as the NSFW trailer -- features quick-witted Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) as he undergoes the initial Wolverine-like experiment that altered his body after being diagnosed with cancer.
Wilson then adopts the alter-ego Deadpool and begins working as a mercenary to cope with leftover "rage" after the experiment changes his life in ways he didn't expect.
Wilson's dry, often R-rated humor (and apparent Green Lantern joke) prompted positive reactions from already enthusiastic fans on social media. Deadpool, directed by Tim Miller, hits theaters Febuary 2016.
the deadpool trailer was even better than I thought it was going to be and I already thought it was going to be amazing
