Visiting King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain had talks late Tuesday with Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

The Bahrain monarch was welcomed by the prime minister upon his arrival at the latter's official residence, the Malaysian news agency Bernama reported.

They later attended the signing ceremony of several memorandums of understanding between Malaysia and Bahrain including agreements on air services and defense cooperation.

King Hamad arrived to Malaysia on April 30 on a four-day state visit at the invitation of King Al Sultan Muhammad V.
