The 15- year flutist Boghos Taslakjian wowed Dar al-Assad audience with his professional performance with the childish sense of joy and delight, accompanied by the pianist Svetlana Shaatta. The two players performed a Mozart concerto which follows the typical fast-slow-fast musical structure, Poulenc Sonata which consists of three movements too and Jacques Ibert Concerto. The pianist Shatta was able to delight the audience with her performance, showing high professionality and delicate sense of life. Boghos and Svetlana were participating in a musical concert held at Dar al-Assad for Culture and Arts, in cooperation with Solhi Al-Wadi Institute of Music in Damascus. Boghos Taslakjian was born in Damascus 1996. He played the flute after trained by a Russian expert for four years. In 2005, he performed his first solo concert at Solhi Al-Wadi Institute of Music. He participated in Mediterranean Music Festival 2010 in Genoa, Italy. Svetlana Shaatta started studying music since she was 5 years old. When she was 13, Svetlana played with the Russian Orchestra. She entered Moscow University to study music when she was 16. She performed solo and group concerts. After her return to Syria in 2005, she started teaching at High Institute of Music in Damascus Solhi Al-Wadi Institute of Music.
