Rabat - Al Maghrib Today
Dubai Culture and Arts Authority has launched an internal recycling project to encourage employees to reuse paper and reduce waste.
The project, named ‘Namaa’, was launched by Dubai Culture’s corporate social responsibility team, and will see all paper used within the organisation recycled into new materials, as part of continuous efforts to achieve sustainability and avoid wasting resources.
The project has so far managed to recycle 100 percent of Dubai's cultural documents, including envelopes of all sizes as well as internal and external correspondence papers. The authority also uses only recycled paper for its internal paperwork.
Namaa is one of a number of several environmentally-friendly initiatives and projects that have been launched by the authority.
