Woori Finance Holdings Co., South Korea's fourth-largest banking group, said Friday its second-quarter earnings shot up 487 percent from a year earlier on a one-off factor and reduced loan-loss reserves.
Net income totaled 870.4 billion won (US$844.3 million) in the April-June period, compared with 148.2 billion won the previous year, the group said in a regulatory filing.
