The World Bank is working with the African Development Bank to prop up the economic reform program adopted by the Egyptian government.

In a statement a copy of which MENA received on Tuesday, the World Bank said there are underway consultations to support the Egyptian economic reform program which aims at shrinking the budget deficit and boosting investments.

The bank seeks to help Egypt reduce poverty rates and enhance joint prosperity, it said.
