Mauritania and the World Bank on Saturday signed an agreement worth dlr26 million to support its economic reform program, an official source here said.

It is the first time for Mauritania to get such assistance to support its economic development programs.

The agreement comes as part of cooperation between Mauritania and its financial partners, especially the World Bank.

The fund will help Mauritania to diversify its economic financial resources and improve its cooperation with development partners
