Managing Director of IMF chief Christine Lagarde called Friday on Britain and Europe to work together in ensuring that Britain's pullout from the European Union will take place smoothly. 
Lagarde released a statement urging the UK and Europe to work together and ensure a smooth transition towards a new economic relationship between the UK and EU. 
She also endorsed the commitments of the Bank of England and the European Central Bank to control market volatility and keep liquidity in the banking system.
