The committee of governors of Gulf central banks and monetary institutions will convene on Wednesday here to discuss recent developments in the project of linking payment system between the Gulf Cooperation Council member states.
The participants will also take up efforts for fighting money laundering and financing terrorism.
The committee, in its 66th session, will also review monitoring measures of the banking sector in the member states, according to a statement by the GCC.
