The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) stabilized the sale price of the US dollar at 7.73 pounds during an auction on Thursday.
The bank stabilized the price in a tender to become 7.78 pounds for buying and 7.83 for sale, the CBE said in a statement obtained by MENA.
The CBE offers 40 million dollars in three periodic tenders a week on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday to meet banks' needs of the foreign currency.
