The Bahrain Development Bank (BDB) and Bahrain Polytechnic (BP) concluded the business training progamme for a group of BP students on Thursday at the Entrepreneurship Centre in 'Aali .
Organised by the BDB's Business Consultation Unit, the programme explored and discussed basic requirements and skills for establishment of micro-enterprise startups such as commercial registration (CR), and other organisational procedures applicable in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Also, successful Bahraini entrepreneurial experiences were displayed.
The participants were also trained on techniques to prepare an action plan for a specific project, namely in terms of concept, financial, technical and accountancy matters which should be known and practically applied. The programme also outlined financial services provided by the BDB as well as by other relevant institutions to business startups.
At the conclusion of the programme, the BDB Group's Deputy Director-General Shaikh Hisham bin Mohammed Al Khalifa said that this training programme that has been organised for participating students from the Bahrain Polytechnic comes as a fruit of the cooperation and partnership with the BDB to develop, stimulate the culture of entrepreneurship in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
