Samsung Electronics Co., the world's largest smartphone maker, said Wednesday that sales of its latest smartphone, the Galaxy Note 3, has surpassed the 5-million mark one month after its release in late September. "Market response is better than its predecessors," Samsung Electronics' mobile chief Shin Jong-kyun told reporters.
