olice in Belize say they have detained three people for questioning in the death of Gregory Faull, a neighbor of Internet pioneer John McAfee. McAfee, who has been at loggerheads with Belizean authorities in recent months, is still being sought, CNN reported Wednesday. Faull\'s body was found Sunday. He had been shot in the back in the head in his home on Ambergris Caye, about 300 yards from McAfee\'s home. Three people were being questioned but such detentions are routine in murder investigations, said National Police spokesman Raphael Martinez. Police are pursuing multiple leads and McAfee isn\'t a suspect, Martinez said. Authorities want to question him \"to allay the fears of everybody\" that he wasn\'t involved in the killing, the spokesman said. Faull, 52, was killed within a day after an employee of McAfee called police to report that four of McAfee\'s 11 dogs had been poisoned. Faull had often complained about the dogs\' barking, said Joshua Davis, a contributing editor to Wired magazine who interviewed McAfee Tuesday by phone. McAfee admitted to Davis there were harsh feelings between him and Davis, and that they had \"spoken maybe 50 words total\" in the past three years. McAfee said he had hidden in a hole on his property when police arrived Sunday. He said he feared that he would be killed by police if he were taken into custody.
