Google says it has given its Search app for Android the ability to play music -- either songs saved on a device or from Google Play -- with a voice command. Google has issued an update to the app for users of devices running Android 4.1 or higher, CNET reported Thursday. The voice commands are a feature of Google Now, the Mountain View, Calif., company\'s answer to Apple\'s Siri voice assistant. Location-based offers also come with the update; the app will remind users of any offers they may find useful and allow users to access any saved offers. For those having trouble remembering what voice commands are available and what they can accomplish, Google had introduced \"Voice Action Tips,\" a help and tutorial feature to teach users what commands are best for their device. For devices running the required version of Android, the update was being rolled out on Google Play Thursday.
