Orange Egypt said on Sunday it will study Egypt's telecommunications regulator's licence offers and will take a decision in the first week of August.
Earlier, Egypt's telecommunications regulator set the price of a licence to provide fourth-generation mobile services at EGP 3.54 billion, half of which must be paid in dollars.
In a statement sent to the Egyptian stock exchange, the company said the regulator set the cost of getting a fixed line licence at EGP 100 million and the cost of a licence to offer customers international calls at EGP 1.8 billion.
