Stooges and military forces of Yemeni dictator Ali Abdullah Saleh have grown so bold that they shell dissidents and massacre protestors very openly and without any reservation.Among the 16 people killed yesterday by the Yemeni government forces in Taiz province were three women and three children. This is the first time since January the women and children were openly targeted in large number by government snipers and troops. Eyewitnesses in Taiz said that the government bombardment in the province was fierce and did not differ between civilians or fighters. More than 67 people were reported injured in the attacks that continued until late at night. Hundreds of soldiers were stationed on Saturday in new checkpoints created by the regime in an effort to make it even more difficult for residents. However, protesters say that with every government attacks they only grow stronger. \"We did not revolt against Ali Abdullah Saleh for no reason. We will finish what we started and are willing to pay the price for it. Our children cannot suffer like we did and they deserve the chance for a better life,\" said Summaya al-Ariki, a mother of three who continued to march against the regime in Taiz. Yemenis say they will never forget that they kicked Saleh out of the country, but he took shelter in Saudi Arabia, where he was treated, catered, emboldened and eventually returned to Yemen with Riyadh\'s full backup. And now a regime which was ousted, has once again come back to power, killing people openly. Yemeni people say they would never forget that they are paying the price for the Saudis\' interfering and expansionist policies by their lives.
