The Supreme Council of Women in cooperation with Bahrain Excellence Center are currently exerting persistent efforts in order to assess the national plan for Bahraini women's renaissance for the year 2077-2012 pertaining to practical applications of self-assessment aimed at creating a Bahraini model for businesses who opt to transform themselves from sole-goal enterprises into effective, influential high-achievers within framework of the services provided by Bahrain Excellence Center for the private and public sectors' organizations and the civil community. The Supreme Council of Women's Secretary-general Ms. Hala Mohammed Al-Ansari stated that compilation of phase one of the revision and assessment of the national plan for Bahraini women's renaissance for the years 2007-2012 has now been finalized as intended by the executive leaders in the secretariat general of the Supreme Council of Women in collaboration with the center's expert. The secretary-general explained that the report aims to review the outcomes realized by the Council during the past five to ten years and its impact on the Bahraini community's culture and particularly on Bahraini women. She explained that the general secretariat has formed a strategic leading team in cooperation with Bahrain Excellence Center last May in order to support the Council's efforts in assessing the plan and preparing a new culture commensurate with the upcoming national plan. She pointed out that the Council, in turn, has formed 6 specialized teams for questionnaires data gathering and analysis, dealing with focus groups, managing the job whence the outcomes realized, indicators monitoring and analysis in addition to drafting the plan assessment report. The secretary-general also explained that phase two aims at preparing a national plan to upgrade Bahraini women with new thought building on the outcomes realized and the lessons learned from the national plan. The Supreme Council of Women voluntarily partook in Bahrain Excellence Center and satisfied the requirements for arbitration session within phase one. Now the Council is readying to participate in the second arbitration lap of Bahrain Excellence Center whose features will be determined by the Council in comparison with the values sought to be realized by the Bahraini community. Also, the Council aims to apply the best practices in terms of community participation in the focus groups implemented so far. The Council shall assign its leaders in groups of facilitators and guides to focus groups in the areas of (education and coaching), (civil society), (decision-making) and (financial empowerment). The Council constitutes a role model for organizations to transform themselves into effective, influential high-achievers.
