Dr. Bakri Ma’touk Asas, Um Al-Qura University Rector, met here today with visiting Dr. Mohammed Hussein Hosni, Head of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) delegation. During the meeting, Dr. Asas welcomed the delegation highlighting the state-of-the-art academic programs offered by higher education institutions across the Kingdom. The delegation's task is to ensure that the university has met all ABET requirements before being internationally- recognized as an accredited university. ABET is the recognized U.S. accreditor of college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering and technology.
