Prince Migren bin Abdul Aziz, honorary chairman of the University General Assembly and Council and chairman of the board of directors of Al-Bayan Charitable Association, will inaugurate the Prince Migren University in Al-Madinah Al-Munawara on Feb. 14, in the presence of Madinah Gov. Prince Faisal bin Salman.
The university was launched with ambitious visions in line with the development plans and the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision. It has three main colleges: Engineering, business administration, and computer science, in addition to the School of Hospitality, a college under construction.
Through the colleges, the university will offer disciplines and quality programs in accordance with the highest academic and quality standards to graduate students to meet the needs of the labor market with a high degree of expertise.
The university will introduce new unique disciplines such as criminal computer and information security, a specialty that is unique to the area for protecting the Kingdom’s electronic security. The university also offers disciplines for women in architecture, engineering and interior design.
To ensure that graduates are globally competitive, the university established associations with universities in Connecticut, Boston, Texas, Illinois, Michigan, Manchester, Leeds, Minnesota, Cardiff, and Dublin.
The founders established a non-profit university by providing full and partial scholarships to talented students in accordance with academic and scientific excellence.
