Dozens of Muslim Brotherhood students staged protests outside Cairo and Alexandria universities demanding the reinstatement of Mohamed Morsi. Clashes erupted between the pro-Morsi university students and security troops after the protesters advanced toward troops deployed outside the Faculty of Engineering. Meanwhile, students of renowned Saidiya Secondary School, which is close to Cairo University, organized a protest in support of the Armed Forces.
