The first batch of 71 students graduated from Masdar Institute Sunday. Shaikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, yesterday attended a ceremony at the Emirates Palace Hotel to mark the graduation of 71 students from Masdar Institute. Shaikh Hazza presented certificates to the students. He congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their professional career as they further contribute to serving their nation. The ceremony was held under the patronage of General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of Masdar Institute\'s Board of Trustees. Shaikh Hazza said the graduation of the first batch of students comes as a practical implementation of the UAE\'s serious efforts to advance the reality and future of the global renewable energy sector. He said that it also complements the UAE\'s strong belief in preparing generations of Emirati youths and enhancing their knowledge and expertise to build the future of one of the most important and vital economic sectors. He said that this is within the scope of the plan of the UAE leadership led by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. \"The graduation of the first batch of the institute\'s students gives us a good opportunity to express our deep appreciation and thanks to the nation\'s leader, who greatly considers investment in human capital as top priority in order to achieve scientific and technological progress in the country,\" said Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. He thanked Shaikh Mohammad for his sharp strategic vision for the future of Abu Dhabi, as well as his generous initiatives for the development of all walks of life in the country.
