Muslim Brotherhood students staged a march on Wednesday at Cairo University to demand the enrollment of students dismissed following an attack on former Grand Mufti Dr. Ali Gomaa. Protesters chanted slogans against the military and in support of the Muslim Brotherhood and ousted president Mohamed Morsi, which was resulted in clashes with the supporters of the army, but police forces managed to contain the situation separated between the two sides.
