President of Alexandria University Professor Rushdy Zahran held a meeting Friday with Gerard Steeghs, Ambassador of the Netherlands to Egypt.

The meeting took up details of a Dutch grant to provide equipment to three hospitals at Alexandria University.

The three hospitals are expected to provide emergency and pediatric surgery.

During the meeting, Zahran said the university has finished all necessary works at the three hospitals according to the international standards.

The diplomat voiced keenness on cooperation with the university to start operations at the three facilities.
