Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi has commended the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, during the Government Forum 2017 to advance the performance of various educational institutions considering their key role in national capacity-building to achieve the Kingdom’s sustainable development goals (SDGs) in harmony with Bahrain’s Economic Vision2030.
The minister affirmed the ministry's compliance with these directives to develop the performance of all governmental and private educational institutions.
The ministry has always been keen in this respect on taking numerous measures regarding private schools, including the ministry’s resolution issued to encourage and stimulate excellent private schools performance as per the outcomes of the Education and Training Authority (BQA)’s auditing reports and the ministry’s subsequent follow up to maintain and steadily boost the high performance standard of these schools, Dr. Al Nuaimi said.
The ministry offers various benefits to top performance private schools, including simplified student intake and teacher recruitment procedures as well as hosting various educational activities and functions that promote the teaching/learning process in these schools and boost their resources, the minister said.
