The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research said in a statement that, it is monitoring all the attempts to politicize the suspension of Qadisiyah University students, and warns against using the university abilities in misguided ways.

The statement said that, the students’ suspension was carried out because of a compliant against them, saying that they were distributing papers that distort professors’ reputations. The ministry denied any rumors saying that this decision was conducted because of political influence, and pressure to carry out such decision, adding that they are open to any observations, as long as they have solid evidences.

On the other hand, the suspended students express their resentment and surprise over such decision, which came after their participation in demonstrations refusing the Iranian interventions, after the leader of Asaib Ahl al-Haq ,Qays al-Khazali visited Iraq.
