A student who was wounded on Wednesday in a drive-by shooting outside Fayyoum University was moved to Cairo's Kasr el-Aini Hospital for treatment, the Health Ministry undersecretary in Fayyoum said. Medhat Shoukry justified the move saying the patient needed a neurologist. Earlier in the day, gunmen riding a motorbike shot Saeed Gomaa Abdel-Tawwab, a student at the Faculty of Agriculture, during attempts by security forces to disperse a rally staged by Muslim Brotherhood (MB) students. Meantime, families of the victims of a landslide in Fayyoum identified one of the victims as Farid Sayyed. Security forces are searching for two other missing victims.
